iStrike for mobile devices
Owners of Web-enabled mobile devices are able to enhance their alerting by having a Google-driven map that shows all the lightning strikes detected for their location. The mobile web app is great because it works for your chosen home location or it can follow you if you're on the move, using either the device's built-in GPS or WiFi triangulation. It'll even let you update your iStrike account settings.
There are two levels of service for iStrike users: low and high resolution displays of the lightning strikes on your Google map. The low-resolution service is included with the standard text alerts service and displays one lightning bolt icon for every 2 miles of distance. The high-resolution service is an additional fee per month and shows every lightning strike detected down to 250 meter accuracy.
